About Email Monitoring

A lot of contractors say they don't have time for email.  I can totally understand that.  But the fact remains that more and more consumers are expecting to be able to reach the people they do business with by email.  The email monitoring service I provide as part of your Contractor Web Presence Package means that I monitor your business email from my location and CALL YOU when you get an email.  I give you a quick summary of the email and you can let me know how you want to respond (per our agreement, I'll either respond as you, so it looks like you are responding yourself, or I'll respond with my own name as your secretary - whichever you prefer).

You can choose different monitoring plans depending on your needs.

  • If you don't anticipate getting a lot of email, you can choose the one call weekly option that summarizes your email for the week.  You tell me during the call how you'd like the email handled (set an appointment, thank you letter, follow up with info, etc.) and I'll take care of it by 7pm that same day.  If an email comes in over the weekend, you'll get the info on those during your next call.  If an email comes in on a holiday, you will get the info on those during the call on the next business day.  You can choose the day of the week you'd like to get your email call.  Any week that you don't get any email, you won't get a call.  This option is $150 per month.

  • If you plan on using your email a bit more actively, you can choose the 3 calls per week option (generally M-W-F, but can be flexible). Any call day where there are no emails to report, you won't get a call.  This option is $275 per month.

  • If you plan on using your email a lot, you'll most likely want the 5 calls per week option (M through F). Any day where there are no emails to report, you won't get a call.  This option is $375 per month.

  • You can choose to get called as the emails come in and that option is $600 per month.  Monday through Friday from 9-6pm.

If you're going on vacation, simply let me know what day you'd like me to call you with the digest of your emails and I'll give you a call then.  I can give the typical responses to your emails in your absence and schedule appointments starting after your return from vacation.

If you do not receive any emails during a given day, you will not get a call that day, so no news means no email.

Monthly email monitoring service fees are charged in advance of the month.  In other words, you'll be charged in advance for services that will be provided over the next 30 days.  To cancel service, simply call me to cancel before your next billing period.  If you cancel before then, your refund will be pro-rated, meaning you'll be refunded for the days you didn't use.  You'll be refunded for the days AFTER your cancellation day up to your next billing date.  For instance, if you canceled on the 13th and your bill date is the 30th, your money will be refunded for days 14-30.
